Why I Do This Work
The old saying goes "if you build it, they will come." It stopped being true a long time ago. I build it, and then I make sure they arrive.
I started as a developer. Shipping felt great until I watched good products sit invisible in search results. So I learned SEO properly: crawling, indexation, structured data, intent. Then AI search changed the game again, and I went deep on GEO before most of the industry had a name for it.
That is the idea behind DevBehindYou. I look at a growth problem as a developer, read it the way search engines and AI discovery platforms do, and check every decision against analytics and real performance data.
Today I build web products and lead SEO at NinePages, work part-time as a Growth Specialist at TheFirstRanker, and take freelance builds, SEO/GEO strategy and content work for my own clients. Content Whale sharpened the production discipline. I joined as an SEO specialist and content writer and went on to manage its growth team: real deadlines, real clients, real accountability for rankings.
